Abstract

The present study is a Pre-Post intervention study to evaluate the Knowledge, attitude, and practice before and after implementation of an interventional training program regarding smoking cessation counseling for the primary health care physicians in Port Said city.
A comprehensive study for all primary health care physicians in Port Said city working at family health centers affiliated either to the faculty of medicine, Suez Canal University (FOM-SCU) or the Ministry of Health (MOH). The total number of primary health care physicians included in this study was 74 physicians after excluding 10 physicians as a pilot study.
