Since I have started working on this study, I bore in my mind an objective which is presenting a clear picture to the Arab reader about a famous and known character, his main life events and everything about him, by choosing this subject I targeted pinpointing a famous Sufi character for the researchers and those interested in reading in this field in addition to enriching the Arab Libraries with suchlike studies which were not covered by lots of researchers. As for the reasons for choosing this subject: represented in benefiting from the existing information in an autobiography novel by a contemporary Turkish author and also the lack of previous studies concerning this novel. In this study, I have followed the descriptive analytical method which is based on describing the phenomenon and analyzing it, as I humbly believe that it is the best method for this study. In this research, I have approached the translation of the autobiography novel “Lovers’ Tears - Shams Tabrizi” for the contemporary Turkish author SinanYaghmur“Sinanyağmur” and a critical analytical study for the novel. The research findings: Undoubtedly, the novel has proved that Shams Tabrizi is a real character not a fictional character created by GalalEldinElroumi, and that’s through the facts, events, places, dates, people that the novel is full of. Besides Sufism is following the Islamic manners and ethics quoted from the Holy Qura’an and the Sunna, or the pursuit of the charity prestige which Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) defined as: “You should worship Allah as if you can see Him” and all their words support this. The novel was characterized by the super simple method, with words far away from strangeness and complexity, the sentences too are super simple, and were formed in elegant writing style, by which the writer has tried to convey this unknown character by a lot of people to the minds and the ideas of the new generations.
