Abstract Summary This study was planned to assess the change in ejaculatory function after penile prosthesis implantation. Forty male patients with PP implantation are included in the study from Andrology Clinic, Kasr El Aini hospital, Cairo University. The study groups were subjected to the following: History taking, Clinical examination (both general & local genital exams). EDTS, IPE; ISSM definition and diagnostic tool of PE. After statistical analysis, the results were as following: There is an increase in the ejaculatory latency after penile prosthesis operation among patients who had ejaculatory latency of 3 min or less. Prevalence of premature ejaculation (PE) among the study group decreased from 8 patients (20%) before operation to be 3 (7.5%) after operation. Our study reported another improvement in the satisfaction after PPI with statistically significance difference with p-value <0.05. |
