Abstract Introduction: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a form of inflammatory arthritis associated with psoriasis. It affects 7% to 36% of psoriatic patients in different samples.The aim of work: Assessment of musculoskeletal ultrasonographic finding of psoriatic patient with skin lesion attending Rheumatological &Immunology unit of Internal medicine department and Dermatological unit in Mansoura University Hospital (MUH)Research Plan: Complete history taking and physical examination and investigations• Results: This study resulted in the mean age of all studied groups is ranged from 43years to 46 years old. The most common type of psoriasis affects the studied groups is palmoplanter type with active psoriatic skin lesions in 62.5% of PsA patients and 30.3% of PsC patients.• Conclusion: The use of MSUS facilitates early diagnosis and potentially even the prevention of PsA if treated appropriately. |
