Abstract

It is a surgical opening is created on the abdominal wall and used as a means to divert the natural stream of the body waste (urine or feces) or intake nutrients.Stomy nurse has an important role in caring for children undergoing abdominal stomas based on evidence-based practice to reach the highest quality of care and better outcomes for patients through three stages: before the operation, after the operation, and continuing care, including family needs.
