Fifteen children (5-7years old) having bilateral carious lesions of lower first deciduous molars wereselected andrestored with composite resin then were prepared to receive the suitable trimmed open-faced stainless steel crowns. In relation to the facings, the two widely used composite resin materials in primary teethwere used in this study, as flowable composite can be easily used as a facingdue to easily handling properties thus reduce the susceptibility to contamination and save the time. Also Nan composite provided good result in facing of the crown due to its higher mechanical properties.
