Abstract
The study aimed to identify the extent of the spread of liver diseases and the most common types in Egypt in general and in Dakahlia in particular, as well as the detection of the social, economic and cultural characteristics of patients with liver disease, and try to shed light on the methods of coping with the disease and types of disease and its causes, To identify the most important factors of the social, cultural and medical environment affecting the incidence of liver diseases as well as know the most negative social and economic consequences of the incidence of these diseases. Finally, an attempt was made to develop effective and positive scientific proposals to confront the disease and how to reduce its spread and ways of preventing it. As for the methodological framework of the field study, the field study was implemented in the Society for the Care of Liver Patients in Dakahlia, located in Mansoura Street, A personal interview questionnaire on a random sample of liver patients enrolled in the association, which amounted to 800,000 patients. To obtain data from all parties, the study variables were conducted individually by some doctors in charge of the medical operation in Dakahlia Governorate. The number of employees in the association or outside it reached 10, and the results of the questionnaire were processed by individual interviews. The second chapter deals with the problem, importance, objectives and questions of the study. The third axis dealt with previous studies and research on the phenomenon of health and disease. The third chapter deals with the types and causes of the disease. It deals with the natural history of the disease, the causes of the disease and the extent of the disease. He then treated hepatitis as a model of the interaction of ecological and cultural factors in the study of health and disease. Entitled: Liver diseases as a model of diseases of social and cultural character in the study of health and disease. The fifth chapter was entitled: Sociological view to achieve the personal and social compatibility of patients with cirrhosis. Finally, chapter 6 presents the results of the field study and the main recommendations and suggestions.
