Abstract Statistical analysis of large data set, covering extended periods of the order of years, can be insightful on revealing interesting properties of nein TeV blazar namely Mrk 421, Mrk 501, PKS 0301-243, PKS 0447-439, 1ES 1959+650, 1ES 2344+514, 3C 66A, W Comae, KUV 00311-1938. The long-term variability of these sources was studied using 70 months of Fermi-LAT data in the energy range 200 MeV–50 GeV collected starting 4 August, 2008 and extending until 31 May, 2014. The energy was divided to five loguniform energy bands and the sizes of the source and the comparable regions were determined based on Crab data. Three different statistical methods were used to study the time/frequency scales; the structure functions (SF), auto-correlation functions (ACF) and fast Fourier transforms (FFT). |
