This research aims to investigate the effect of organizational climate on activating the role of organizational work teams, and for achieving this purpose the research field study was applied on Telecom Egypt Company at Mansoura District, as a major company in communication sector. This research dealt with two main variables, fisrt is the organizational climate (OC) which is the independent variable, it is explained through six dimensions (organizational structure, leadership style, communication, employee decision making participation, utilized technology, and incentives & rewards), the other viariable is dependent one, which is explained through three dimensions (team performance, ability to success, and team satisfaction). A questionnaire was used for collecting primary data. Judgment was used for validity testing and Choronbach’s Alpha for reliability, then, the questionnaire was set in its final form. The target population for this research was made up of all employees of Telecom Egypt Company at Mansoura District (a total of 1800 individuals) in two sectors: managerial & technical employess. A random stratified sample of 317 was selected and distributed classically between two sample sectors. A total 282 valid questionnaires were returned representing a valid response rate 88.9 percent. In analyzing data, a set of statistical tests were used utilizing statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) V. 21. Tests used include: Mann Whitney’s test, Spearman rank correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression. The field study of the research finds a non-significant difference in researched company employees’ opinions regarding efficiency level of its work teams. This level represents just 72 percent of the ideal level. This conclusion confirms the presence of some shorcomings in the efficiency of companies work teams. Also, a significant difference in researched company employees’ opinions regarding the availability of supporting organizational climate dimensions. And a strong and significant correlation between organizational climate and teamwork efficiency in the researched company. Finally, a significant influence of organizational climate dimensions collectively on the teamwork efficiency in the researched company.
