Abstract
Metolochlor (Dual), is a relatively new herbicide introduced in Arab Republic of Egypt. The herbicide affected the vegetative growth and yield of tomato plant. In applied to tomato seedlings grown in sand culture containing 25% Hoagland nutrient solution and metoachlor as foliar spray on transplanted tomato grown in field different rates of metoachlor on some physiological and biochemical aspects of tomato seedlings and transplanted tomato. The results obtained in the present work, can be briefly summarized.
