Abstract

There are three levels of healthcare i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary. The concept of Primary Health Care (PHC) was developed in the 1940`s, when governments of several countries were urged to rationalize their highly technical approaches to health care and to broaden their coverage by providing basic health services. This rationalization implied a measures aimed at both the prevention of illness and debility and the promotion of the general well-being of communities. Improvement in the quality of primary healthcare services has become a major concern for the developing nations in the recent years and patient satisfaction with care received. So the aim of this study is to determine the relationship between quality of primary health care and patient`s satisfaction.
The study was conducted in 11 primary health care unite at kafr al Dawar City-Elbehara Governorate, and selected by simple random sampling technique. These units are classified into 4 accredited and 7not accredited units.
