Abstract

This dissertation studies critically the effect of ‎the drama of” the second wave” on the drama of ‎Rashad Rushdie showing the differences and ‎similarities between the drama of Rushdie and the ‎drama of” the second wave”. It focuses on four plays ‎by Rushdie that are A Journey Outside the Wall ‎‎(Rihlah Kharj Asour), Oh My Country, Oh My ‎Country( Baladi Ya Baladi), Shadow Puppet’s ‎Show( Khayal Adhil), and Roll on( Itfaraj Ya ‎Salam). So, it is divided into three chapters besides ‎introduction, conclusion, and work cited‏.‏
