Abstract The study included 100 patients presented with NSTEMI and UA and underwent coronary angiography, at Ain Shams university hospitals from July 2016 to February 2017. The study population was subjected to full history taking, physical examination, 12-lead ECG, echocardiography, laboratory investigations including serum UA levels, and coronary angiography, SYNTAX and Gensini scores calculated to all patients to assess the severity of CAD. The study results showed that serum UA and was not significantly correlated with severity of CAD, numbers of coronary vessels affected, percent luminal narrowing or sites of significant lesions. |
