Abstract
Many Researches and studies have been published about reducing exhaust gas emissions from marine diesel engines with attention being on either controlling the emissions generation inside engine cylinders or removing the exhaust gas emission by after-treatment. in man cases emission reduction achieved by improving the fuel specification such as in case of SOX or by development of combustion processes such as in case of NOX. one of the magic solutions which give both a reduction in emissionsnd a reduction in fuel consumption is the waste heat energy technology.
