Abstract
Alkaline rocks are of very limited distribution in the world. In North America they cover an area less than .05 % of the total area of agneous rocks. In Europe as a whole, the Ratio is likely to smaller than 1% (Daly, 1933).in Egypt, the alkaline rocks are similar to those occurring elsewhere in Africa. They are represented mainly by ring complexes, some dykes, plugs, volcanic flows and comparatively small alkaline granitic and syenitic bodies.
