Abstract

Suicide is a self-inflicted death that is intentional rather than accidental. It is a complex human behavior with biological, sociological, and psychological roots . It may be seen in every community, from an average person reacting to stressful life conditions, to patients with severe mental health disorders. Suicide is still a very controversial matter ,due to it being one of the main reasons for death in recent years (Ernst et al., 2010).
Risk factors for suicide attempt have included a history of suicide attempt by the patient or suicide in the family, high severity depression, hopelessness, anger and suicidal ideation (Fawcett et al., 2009).
With the continuous economic developments and social transformations, increasing people are suffering from mental problems. Depression, anxiety and other emotional problems may lead to a loss of confidence, and the extreme manifestation of this is suicide (Pelkonen et al., 2011).
