Abstract

Two field experiments were carried out at private Farm at Shandawel Agricultural Research Station, Sohag, Egypt during two successive summer seasons; 2013 and 2014. The experiments aimed to investigate the response four genotypes to three planting dates and three levels population density
The study included 36 treatments, which were the combinations of three planting dates, four soybean genotypes and three population density treatments.
1- Days to 50% flowering :
Planting dates had a significant effect on Flowering date in both seasons. Using planting in 20th May produced the greatest values in the both seasons. Plant density was significantly effected on Flowering date in the both seasons. Using 175.000 plant/fed. gave greatest values in the both seasons. Soybean genotypes had a significant effect on Flowering date in both seasons. Using H2F12 genotype had gave the highest Flowering date in both seasons.
The interaction between planting dates and plant density (A x B), planting dates and soybean genotypes (A x C), plant density and soybean genotypes (BXC) and The interactions (A x B x C) had a significant effect on the days to50% flowering in both seasons. In general, H2F12 genotype when sowing in 20 May with dense plant population 175.000 plant/fed recorded the maximum days to flowering in the both seasons.
