Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate bonding effectiveness to primary teeth enamel and dentin of newly introduced self-adhesive flowable composites Vertise Flow , Fusio Liquid Dentin and Vitrebond resin modified glass ionomer. Bond strength was evaluated using μSBS test. The specimens were divided according to the material into 3 different groups (Vertise Flow, Fusio Liquid dentin and Vitrebond RMGI). These experimental conditions of different materials were done for both enamel and dentin of primary teeth. One-Way ANOVA showed microshear in enamel for vertise was the highest mean followed by Vitrebond and Fusio. While, there were no statistically significant differences between micro shear in dentin for Vertise, Fusio and Vitrebond. Polymerization shrinkage strain analysis for the three materials used in this study was assessed by strain gage. One-Way ANOVA showed highly significant differences of polymerization shrinkage for Vertise, Fusio and Vitrebond. polymerization shrinkage for Vertise was the highest followed by Fusio and Vitrebond. For miniflexural strength testing 10 specimens were prepared for each materials used in this study, with dimensions of 12mm x 2mm x 2mm. One-Way ANOVA showed highly significant differences of flexural strength for Vertise, Fusio and Vitrebond. Fusio was the highest mean followed by Vertise and Vitrebond. |
