Abstract In healthcare settings, Quality Work Life (QWL) can contribute to other positive outcomes for both the healthcare providers especially nurses and recipients of care. Quality work life refers to nurses’ satisfaction with working life. It shows the relationship between nurses and their physical, social and economic work environment. In hospitals where there is a lack of quality work life, the absenteeism and turnover rates amongst the nurses are usually very high. By assessing and improving the quality work life, staff performance might increase and burnout among nurses might be reduced. |
