Abstract The evolution of water resources potentiality (in terms of hydrogeological setting and its water quality for different purposes) is a prime importance for future development of Siwa oasis, northwestern desert of Egypt. The achievement of the present study is based on the analysis and interpretation of different integrated methods including geology, geomorphology, hydrogeology and geochemistry. In addition to availability of advanced technologies for managing significant quantities of data these advanced technologies are termed remote sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS), for handling geo referenced data in digital format. |
