Abstract Patients with right coronary artery chronic total occlusion showed impaired systolic functions of right ventricle as assessed by echocardiography. The degree of right ventricular functions impairment depends on the degree of collateral filling (Rentrop class) as patients with Rentrop class I showed more impairment of both systolic and diastolic functions in comparison to patients with class III In addition patients with ECG evidence of old inferior myocardial infarction showed more impairment of both systolic and diastolic functions in comparison to patients without ECG evidence of old INF M.I. Patients with RCA CTO and history of INF. wall M.I. had significantly lower Rentrop class compared to those with no M.I. Patients with history of INF. wall M.I. and RCA CTO had lower LVEF. Patients with RCA CTO and Rentrop class I collaterals had lower LVEF compared to patients with Rentrop class II and III. |
