Abstract

Yidma / Alamein Concession is located in the northern central part of the
Egyptian Western Desert, about 130 kilometers southwest from Alexandria City.
The Alamein Field is one of the main oil producing field in the northern Western
Desert of Egypt. Abu Roash ”G” Dolomite reservoir is one of the main producing
reservoirs in the Alamein Field. It is Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian) in age.
Integrated reservoir study had been done for Abu Roash ”G” Dolomite in Alamein
Field using seismic, well log, core and geochemical data. These data had been
used for identifying the subsurface structural styles of the study area as well as its
relation to hydrocarbon bearing zones. Petrophysical properties of this formation
are evaluated. Identification of the geochemical behavior of the study interval had
been also conducted.
