Abstract Nowadays, there is a global obesity epidemic among children. Childhood obesity is of a multifactorial origin including genetic basis, lifestyle habits and dietary patterns. Recently, childhood obesity has been proposed to affect dental development and salivary functions. In this study the relationship between childhood obesity and dental age, eating behaviour and stimulated saliva parameters has been investigated. |
