Abstract
30 patients with a developmental spondylolisthesis and 30 healthy volunteers were recruited into the study, the same radiographic protocol was used for them all. Inclusion criteria included: age between 10 and 40 years, no previous history of spinal disorders or spinal surgery, no other radiographic abnormality detected prior or during the study. Exclusion criteria included: other types of spondylolisthesis, pregnancy, pelvic obliquity or leg length discrepancy. Volunteers were informed of the risks and benefits of participating in the study and gave informed consent.
