Abstract
To the best of the available knowledge, no trials in the use of the natural product (Bryostatin) as anthelminthic drug. The present work was designed to measure the association between chronic infection with Syphacia muris and 1, 2 dimethyl hydrazine (DMH) induced colon carcinogenesis in rats. In addition, measurement of possible curative effect of Bryostatin, as bearing S.muris and colon carcinogenesis was done to answer on the hypothesis ,that study may enhance resistance against some types of tumors. Moreover, the host may be more susceptible or resistant to tumors according to stimulation of inflammation raised by parasite. An brief overview on Bryozoans is given including types of zooids, their interaction with humans7and their existence in Egypt. Brief biological parameters were done, beside a full biochemical, cellular and molecular investigation on effect of Bryostatin, on animals treated with DMH as well as parasitic infection, were done.
