Abstract This study aimed to assess opinions of students versus teachers toward clinical teaching methods of pediatric nursing in Technical Health Institutes. Research design: A comparative descriptive design. Setting: the study was conducted at four Technical Nursing institutes that include: Imbaba, Ain Shams, Ministry of Interior and Health Insurance Institutes. A purposive sample that was composed of 96 nursing students and 20 clinical instructors. Tools of the study involved: A structured questionnaire sheet to assess characteristics of the studied students sample and student &teachers opinions regarding to clinical teaching methods of pediatric nursing courses. Results: the study showed that, there was highly significant difference between students opinion’s and clinical instructors opinion it also revealed that the majority of studied students were unsatisfied with clinical teaching methods and contents of the health institutes. Conclusion: that both studied sample are unsatisfied in all items. This study recommended that, periodical health training program for clinical instructors and their students to improve pediatric nursing course in institutes |
