Abstract Tomato (Lycopersium esculentum L) is one of the most important vegetable crops cultivated in Egypt. Tomato could be affected by various plant diseases such as wilt disease, which is considered among the most important diseases causing great loses in tomato fruit yield. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici Snyder and Hansen. is one of the main causal organisms of wilt disease. The widespread uses of fungicides to control plant diseases had lead to an increase of health hazards due to their phytotoxic residue and pollution effects. The biological control of plant extract of vegetable and fruit residue has received a considerable attention as an alternative strategy. |
