The educational ists ask for using Problem
Solving method in learning because it helps in increasing many skills that are related to sound
aware thinking and developing sound attitudes that are related to Problem-Solving skills and
scientific thinking. A computer is an effective instrument that helps in practici ng the Problem
Solving methods whereas the students could learn these skills as an independent object without
regard to the nature of the subject. When the student learns Basic language in general, it helps
him in solving problems where the programme with its design is a model of solving the
problem.
Research Problem
The research problem lies on the remarkable decreasing of the students level in the Achievement and
Basic Programming Skills.
The following main question:
What’s the effectiveness of multimedia programme in teach ing Programming with Basic for the first
grade students in Educational Technology Department /Specific Education Faculty-Ai n Shams Un
iversity?
