Abstract
Focus on plant research has increased in recent times all over the world and results have shown an immense potential of some plants for the treatment of different diseases. Beside its nutritional value, these plants are exhibiting many pharmacological effects including, scavenging the free radicals, anti-carcinogenic, anti-mutagenic, anti-aging, treatment of obesity etc.
