Abstract
This scientific report is written to show that it is sometimes controversial to take a decision
concerning the structural systems of some buildings, and economically wise, which will be more economical, adequate, stable and durable to sustain its purpose during its lifetime period without collapsing.
So, to support these considerations theoretically we decided to compare between an existing hangar model of airplanes that was build and taken into service in 1973 at Arlanda, Stockholm and change its structural system to be steel truss instead of the existing steel frame system.
