Abstract

This study was conducted at the Department of Physiology - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sadat City in the period from January to February in 2012 to 160 Molar duck, Madrid dynasty. Has been cleaning up the place and all articles were sanitized then fumigated, All the ducks were reared for 40 days and then ducks were divided into 8 equal groups, each group containing 20 duck, duck then given diets vehicle starting from 50th days of age.
Grouping of ducks:
One hundred and sixty of the ducks are divided into 8 groups. Each group consists of 20 duck, as follows:
•The first group (the control negative)
Were fed the ducks in this group only commercial bush.
•The second group (the control positive)
Were fed the ducks in this group on the diet containing ZADO®.
•The third group
Were fed the ducks in this group on the diet that contains the contents of the rumen 20% from the yellow corn .
• The forth group
Were fed the ducks in this group on the diet that contains the contents of the rumen 20% from the yellow corn with ZADO®.
• The fifth group
Were fed the ducks on the bush containing olive cake 20% from the yellow corn.
• The sixth group
Were fed the ducks on the bush containing olive cake 20% from the yellow corn with ZADO®.
• The seventh group
Were fed the ducks on the bush containing olive cake10% with the contents of the rumen10% from the yellow corn
• The eighth group
Were fed the ducks on the bush containing olive cake 10%with the contents of the rumen10% from the yellow corn with ZADO®.
The results obtained showed that:
9. The growth performance [vivo weight, and increasing the relative weight and feed conversion ratio, and body weight before and after slaughter (dressing) , and weight organs .
A) vivo weight record significant decrease (p> 0.05) in G 2,3,8 compared with the other groups in the second week, and has a significant decrease (p> 0.05) in G3,7 compared with the other groups in the third week. Also showed that there was no significant appear in all groups that similar to control in W1 , in W2 there was significant increase in G1 (control), but in W3, W4 and W5 there was significant increase in G5 significant comparing to control. The body weight to groups containing wasting by-product not affected but similar to the control. B) In relative body weight gain results showed that in (W2-W1) there was significant increase in G1, G5 and G7 comparing to other groups. also in (W3-W2) there was significant increase in G5 comparing to control . In (W4-W3) there was significant increase in G7 comparing to control. In the last difference between (w5-w4) the significant increase in G2 and G3 comparing to control .
C) In feed conversion ratio, results revealed that there was no significant change when compared to control group except in G5 that there was significant decrease at the (W3-W2) and increase in G7.
D) In body weight before and after slaughter (and remove the head and feathers and legs), the results revealed that there was no significant change compared to the control group except in G7 was significant increase comparing to control dressing
E) In organ weights (liver-Gizzard- viscera), and the results showed that there was no significant change appeared due to the impact of the use of the rumen contents, olive cake and ZADO in the diet for the ducks on the weight machines except in G8 was significant increase comparing to control.
• Blood parameters [total protein in serum, plasma albumin, hemoglobin concentration, PCV%, and liver function (ALT AST-) in serum.
a) The results of Total protein in serum showed significant change (p> 0.05) appeared that in 1st collection there was significant increase in G2 and decrease in G4 comparing to control. At 2nd collection there was significant increase in G7 comparing to control, but in 3rd time there was no significant comparing to control. In 4th significant increase in G5 comparing to control
b) The results of Plasma albumin showed that there was significant increase in G7 and decrease in G5 comparing to control in 1st collection .In 2nd collection there was significant increase in G2 comparing to control, but no significant changes (p> 0.05) appeared in 3rd and 4th collection comparing to control.
