Abstract A total of 120 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates were recovered from 351 different clinical specimens collected from patients attending different clinics of Tanta University Hospitals. The frequency of isolates of P. aeruginosa varied according to sample source being most common in the burn (28.3%), followed by sputum (24.2%), urine (21.7%). On the other hand, the lowest frequency of isolation was recorded in the ear (14.2%) and wounds (11.7%) samples. |
