Abstract

Within the limits of the present study we can conclude that:
• Macro membrane perforations of 0.2, 0.4 and 0.7 mm are suitable pore diameters that could allow for cellular migration. However, these membrane perforation diameters don’t allow for total gingival CT isolation that could affect negatively the optimal outcomes of perforated membrane use.
• Macro membrane perforations of 0.2, 0.4 and 0.7 mm do not adversely affect membrane stiffness.
