Abstract

This study was carried out for 9 weeks, from 19 June to 21 August 2015. All experimental procedures were approved by department of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafr El-Sheikh University. The objectives of present study were carried out to relieve the harmful effect of heat stress on rabbit’s production through:-
1- Studying the effect of some managemental practices such as air-conditioning, lighting and time of feeding on heat stressed rabbit.
2-Studying the effect of some water additives, as honey bee, vitamin C, vitamin E & Selenium and ice cubes.
3-Studying the effect of some immune-stimulants as levamizole injection.
from the study we concluded that supplying heat stressed rabbits with honey bee in drinking water is the most suitable method for control of heat stress.
