Abstract The work in this Thesis aimed first to study the electrochemical behavior of some biologically active compounds {Irbesartan (I), a combined mixture of (Tinidazole, Omeprazole and Clarithromycin) (II), Ethinyl estradiol (III) and Etilefrine HCl (IV)} in buffered solutions of various pH values and the elucidation of their electrode reaction pathway at mercury or solid electrodes using cyclic voltammetry, controlled-potential coulometry and computational studies. It aimed also to investigation the interfacial adsorptive behavior of some biologically active organic compounds at mercury, unmodified carbon paste electrode (Bare CPE) and that modified with sodium montomorillonite natural clay (Na- MMT/CPE). |
