Abstract This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of restoring partially resected mandible with implant assisting removable partial overdenture with neutral zone technique as regard to Facial contour, Patient satisfaction and Radiographic evaluation. So to carry out this study, ten patients their age range from 18 to 45 years were selected. All patients had reconstructed hemi resected mandible with fully dentate maxillary arch and remaining natural teeth in the intact side of the mandi Each patient was subjected to pre operative analysis as patient’s face photographs in frontal view in the natural head position with a digital camera, each patient also was subjected to CBCT scan. All patients received transitional partial denture with neutral zone registration which then acts as a pre surgical stent. In the partially resected side, all patients were received two implants with suitable length and diameter which were determined by CBCT scan. All patients received removable partial overdenture using early loading protocol as two months after implant insertion. Implant assisted overdenture were constructed according to neutral zone registration and basic prosthetic principles was followed. |
