Abstract
Three methods for analysis of cefadroxil, cefaclor, cefpodoxime, cefixime and cefepime The thesis consists of three parts:
Part I: General Introduction:
The medicinal importance, uses and chemistry of the mentioned drugs, a survey of the analytical methods for the analysis of these drugs and the aim of the current work.
Part II: three chapters:
1- Application of safranin dye for the spectrofluorimetric determination of some cephalosporins in different pharmaceutical formulations The method depends on the formation of ion-pair complex between drugs and safranin
2- Hantzsch reaction as a method for spectrofluorimetric analysis of some cephalosporins Method based on Hantzsch condensation reaction 3- selective and Valid Spectrophotometric Method for Determination of Cefpodoxime proxetil in pure form and in Pharmaceutical Formulation Method depends on the formation of a diazonium compound.
