المستخلص This study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between organizational commitment and competitive advantage, as well as to identify whether there was a significant effect of organizational commitment to keep the dimensions of competitive advantage. The research was applied on the private sector companies in the province of Duhok Kurdistan Region of Iraq. According to a comprehensive inventory method, the researcher distributed a questionnaire form to (329) workers in companies under study, and the number of valid questionnaires useable list was (269), and the analysis of the data was carried out using the program (SPSS). The results showed the presence of statistical significant relation between organizational commitment dimensions and competitive advantage dimensions. In addition, it was found that there is an effect of the dimensions of organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuity) on the dimensions of competitive advantage (excellence, cost, focus, quality, innovation). The results also indicated that there is existence of a significant difference in the dimensions of organizational commitment according to their different levels (high, medium, low) on the dimensions of competitive advantage. |
