Abstract

Probiotics played significant role in human health in stimulation of immune system and prevention or treatment of different human infections. An infection occurring in a patient in a hospital or other health care facility in whom the infection was not present or incubating at the time of admission. The most most frequent nosocomial infection bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus Staphylococcus epidermidis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Burning treatment including fluid resuscitation, nutritional support, pulmonary care analgesic and burn wound care (healing, anti-oxidant and infection control). The current strategies evaluates the ability of Lactobacillus plantarum subsp. plantarum DSMZ 20174 to give antibacterial, antiinflammatory and cutaneous healing properties during the burn treatment. The cell free supernatants of different 13 probiotics after different incubation time were screened for their antibacterial activity against tested pathogenic bacterial species which were isolated from patients at Department of burns and wounds, Tanta University Hospitals.
