historical and archaeological study of EL-Ashmunein area in Minia with its archeological buildings. This chapter also deals with historical geography of the city and the importance of Khemino city as well as the division of EL Ashmunein into three areas
deals with the definition of lime stone, its divisions and classification into three types; the organic, the inorganic and the chemical lime stone. tackles also the mineral and chemical composition of lime stone and the important properities of lime stones. discusses the study of environmental deterioration factors that affect el ashmunein area applying on one of the archeological buildings in the area. These factors. deals with an experimental study which include preparing the archeological samples, studying and choosing consolidating materials as well as the used way of application in order to identify the ability of these materials in consolidating the lime stone.
