Abstract The objective of this study is to detect the incidence of Bacillus cereus in some meat products. A total of one hundred and seventy five random samples of meat products represented by rice kofta,kobiba-shami, sambouska, minced meatsausage, meat burgeand luncheon (25 for each). The result revealed that 4 (16%), 3(12%) and 2(8%) for each of rice kofta,kobiba-shami and sambouska,respectively, While the result is negative appeared in each of themincedmeat,sausage, meat burgeandluncheon.Using PCR method to Confirm the result obtain by biochemical tests.9 samples were tested for detect Bacillus cereus group. 8 screened samples strains out of 9 show positive results of B.cereus by using motB gene. |
