The effectiveness of a behavioral program in reducing attention deficit and hyperactive disorder in a sample of children with attention deficit hyperactivity of primary school students. (Experimental study).
1-Problem of study:
The study problem can be summarized in the following question:
- Are there any statistically significant differences among the means ranks of The experimental and the control group on conners scale for the experimental group?
- Are there any statistically significant differences between the average score Of pre and post measurements of the control sample on the scale conners?
- Are there any statistically significant differences among the means ranks of Pre and post measurements of The experimental on the on conners scale For the post measurement?
- Are there any statistically significant differences among the means ranks of The experimental group in the post- follow-up measurements on conners Scale?
2-objectives:
The aims of the study:
This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of behavioral program in reducing attention deficit and hyperactivity in children with attention deficit and hyperactivity aging from 9to 12 years old.
3-Hypotheses:
-There are significant differences between the average grade scores of the experimental group after the application of the program and the average grades order members of the control group after the application of the program for the experimental group dimensions Connors measure of estimate
- There are significant differences between the average grade scores of the experimental group before the application of the program and the average grades members arranged the same group after the application of the program in favor of the post application dimensions Connors measure of appreciation ”for the following dimensions
- There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores arranged the control group members before implementing the program and the average grades members arranged the same group after the application program on the dimensions of Connors measure of appreciation ”of the following
- There are no statistically significant differences between the average grade scores of the experimental group after the application of the program and the average grades members arranged the same group after the follow-up period (one month after the application of the program) dimensions Connors measure of an estimate of the scale
4-Procedures of study:
- Study design:
The study sample consisted of 20 boys and girls suffer from attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity applying Connors measure of appreciation before and after the program.
-Instruments:
Researching the study used the following tools:
-Family social and cultural status scale (prepared by Abdul Aziz al shakhs).
- Connors measure of estimate (prepared by Abdalrguib Buhairi 2011).
-Stanford beinneh scale for IQ (fifth edition (prepared by Mohamed Taha and Abdalmugod Abdel Samie 2011).
-Behavioral program (prepared by the researcher).
Statistical method:
Data has been prcessed , Which was obtained using the following statistical methods:
Mann-Whitney test Mann-Whitney Independent groups.
Wilcoxon test and Wilcoxon test for correlated groups.
5-Results:
-There are statistically significant differences at the level 0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post measurement of Connors measure in favor of the experimental group.
-There are statistically significant differences at the level 0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurement of Connors measure in favor of the post measurement.
-There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the control group in the pre and post measurement of Connors measure.
-There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the post and follow up measurement of Connors measure and adjustment (one month after the end of the application).
