This study aimed to clarify the role of community participation in the development of the local community through the case of Jean Neighborhoods in Wasit province, a study from the perspective of members of the community, and research in the relationship between community participation and level of community development in the province of Wasit. The problem of the study can be summarized the main question? What the role of community participation in the development of the local community in the province of Wasit from the standpoint of community members. The study came up with several conclusions, including the awareness that community participation is a very important issue in development issues.
This study contains eight chapters, interested in the first chapter justifications choose subjective and objective study, the choice of the study and its questions a problem, and the importance of the study and the objectives of the study, and then define concepts used in the study, while the second chapter included some previous studies of Arab and foreign, and the similarities and differences between previous studies and the current study, the third chapter cared by community participation in Iraqi society, and ensure that the fourth quarter conceptual entrance for local development, and included fifth chapter on the relationship between community participation and local development in Iraq, and ensure Chapter VI presentation and analysis of research data and discussion, Chapter VII The most important general results of the study were included, and ensure Chapter eighth and final main conclusions and recommendations and proposals, and then study the sources and finally supplements study.
