Abstract
This thesis comprises four chapters, The first chapter deals with the definition of mixed ligand complexes, a dis- cussion of the theory end mechanisms of their formation , and the factors affecting the stability of mixed ligand complexes, A literature survey on mixed ligand complexes of high coordination elements, transition elements, and rare earth elements is also included, with special reference to those complexes in which a complexon is involved as one of the ligands. The chapter ends with the aim of investigation described in this thesis.
