Abstract

This thesis includes three parts and each part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter in each part is a brief review of the literature related to the subject. The first part deals with some aspects in the chemistry of acid, The synthesis of some analogs of amine, which was presented as a model possessing the extended conformation of aminobutyric acid was achieved, These includes the involvement of its nitrogen atom in a heterocyclic ring, in addition to its glycosylation at position acetyl glucopyranosy bromide was reacted with the potassium salt of kojic acid to give Qacetyl glucopyranoside, whose spectra confirmed its anomeric configuration, Its reaction with thionyl chloride did not give the corres ponding chloromethyl derivative but hydrolysis had taken Place, On the other hand, the chloromethyl derivative was prepared by the reaction of D-glucopyranosyl bromide with potassium salt of chloro acid, Similarly glucopyranoside was prepared. A model study on the dipolar cycloaddition of phenylacety azidomethyl hydroxy.
