Abstract
rheumatic heart diseases (RHD) is an autoimmune disorder that progressively damage cardiac valves.
it is most inportant sequel of acute rheumatic fever (FR) which is an inflammatory diseases that develops after an untreated infection with gram-positive Streptococcus bacteria (mostly upper respiratory tract infections) in suspectible children and teenagers (3-19 years).
