Abstract in the present study 80 specimens of clarias gariepinus were used to determine the adverse effects of sublethal concentraion of lead(7mg/1) on behavioral changes, mortality, growth performance (condition factor and hepatosomatic index), blood constituents (red blood cells, white blood cells,haemoglobin,haematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration,glucose, total protein, total lipids, albumin urea, creatinine.ALT and AST enzymes). |
