Drugs addiction problem is considered from the most important phenomena that faces all communities, it is from problems that has an effective significance in Egypt, it doesn’t only affect country’s economy negatively, but it also destroys main structure of community and its progress pillar (its children particularly youth), this study deals with this phenomenon from one of its sides, it studies the addict’s personality traits on heroin and his quality of life and whether this relation has a relationship with the process of rehabilitation which is the important stages of addiction therapy absolutely, the study consisted of five chapters, the first chapter is study introduction, the second chapter is previous studies, the third chapter is the theoretical framework of the study, the fourth chapter is the methodological procedures, the fifth chapter is results and recommendations, this study aimed at the following:
1. Understanding the relation between quality of life and personality trait from one side and social rehabilitation of the addict from the other side.
2. Identifying effect of quality of life on social rehabilitation of the addict.
3. Identifying effect of personality trait on social rehabilitation of the addict.
The researcher followed the analytic descriptive methodology in this study to identify the relation between different variables which are research subject.
The most important study concepts were personality traits and definition of quality of life, the study also dealt with concept of the addict, addiction concept, rehabilitation process, drugs and remerging.
Study Hypotheses
The Main Hypothesis
There is a relation between quality of life and personality traits from one side and rehabilitation of heroin addict from the other side.
The Sub Hypotheses
1. There is a relation between quality of life and rehabilitation of heroin addict.
2. There is a relation between personality trait and rehabilitation of heroin addict.

Tools
The study used Iznik test of personality (A) copy and scale of quality of life of international health organization – abbreviated image – scale of liability of rehabilitation prepared by the researcher, it is conducted on a sample that consists of 30 addiction patients from residents of four hospitals of psychological health and addiction therapy in Cairo aging between 18-50 years and they are all addicts of heroin and on the stage of recovery and rehabilitation.
The most important results
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between neurosis as one of studied personality traits and psychological health and environment and there is no abstract relation between neurosis and physical health and social life.
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between neurosis as one of studied personality traits and positive view towards future and the trial of forgetting the past, there is no abstract relation between neurosis, optimism and enthusiasm towards life and desire in working.
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between diastole, social life and environment, and there is no abstract relation between diastole, physical health and psychological health.
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between lying as one of studied personality traits and positive view towards future and the trail of forgetting the past and there is no abstract relation between it, optimism, enthusiasm towards life and desire in working which are scale dimensions of liability to rehabilitation.
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between optimism dimension, social life dimension and there is no abstract relation between optimism dimension and dimensions of physical health, psychological health and environment
• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between enthusiasm towards life and psychological health, they also indicated that there is no abstract relation between enthusiasm towards life and dimensions of (physical health, social life and environmental dimension).

• Results indicated that there is an abstract relation between positive view towards future and both of psychological health and environment. They also indicated that there is no abstract relation between positive view towards future and both of physical health and social life.
