urban sprawl on agricultal lands one of the permanent problems which face all the governmens that govern egypt last decadesُُُ especilly with the fact that all urban areas distributed on 6%of all egyption territories accompanied with accelerated population growth (2% yearly).therefor this research aims to study factors affecting urban sprawl on agricultral lands in egypt theoretical studies focused on understanding all aspects of the research problm (economical demographical political and spatial aspects).according to the result of the theoretical studies demographic and spatial aspects showed a great effect on urban sprawl in agricultural lands. these resuluts hafe been tested by statisyical methods in order to measure the reliability of these results.urban sprawled areas for more than 100 village in assuit province were measured based on the satellite images that were taken in statistical assumptions were tested before using the correlation analysis for the dataset.
