Abstract
Recently synthetic pyrethroids are widely used because of their high activity against insects beside their low mammalian toxicity. These pyrethroids are considered as environmental pollutants that could share in a majority of toxic and mutagenic effects . This study was carried out on 110 adult swiss albino mice (Mus- Muscullus) of both sexs . They were divided into 2 main groups: I- control group : that included 30 mice and classified into 3 groups each consisted of 10 animals one of them were injected intraperitonealy(1.P) with 0.1 ml isotonic saline solution , the second group was given 0.1 ml of DMSO I.P(the solvent ) half of them (5 mice) was given a single injection in one day ( acute dose ) and the other half were given the DMSO for five days (chronic dose) one injection per day.
